Chiang Kai-shek (October 31st, 1887 - April 5th, 1975) was a Chinese politician and the leader of Chinese republic between 1928 and 1975. He is also referred to as Chiang Chung-cheng in simple version or Chiang Chieh-shih in traditional version and became the successor of Sun Yat-sen. When the Second Sino-Japanese War had begun in 1937, as the main Allied leader, he is known for getting rid of Japanese invaders with the good relationship of Chinese Communist Party to fight first (similar to Poland) as the preparation of the Pacific Theater of World War 2. After that for the long time, he immediately evacuates Taiwan with Kuomintang-led government because People's Republic of China is separated from the other and merged with communism and go against them and their main leader Mao Zedong during Chinese Civil War as the beginning of Cold War.
